Hi. My name is Danny and I am now in my later twenties. I grew up in rural Arkansas and attended the University of Central Arkansas where I got my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science in College Student Personnel Services and Administration. After finishing all that schooling, I moved out to North Carolina to start my career working at Elon University. I loved it alot and found my passion working with college students! I enjoyed it so much, in fact, that I decided to continue my education in the field of student affairs and am now working on my doctorate at the University of Georgia.

In my free-time, I like to workout, read, watch movies, listen to music, design websites, and enjoy the weekend going places and hanging out with friends.

I created this website almost a decade ago--back in May 2000! It has been and will continue to be the place where I document my life for myself and others. Since my life seems to always have elements that are both happy and sad, I found it only fitting for the title of my site to reflect that. I hope you enjoy reading about the many happy, as well as some sad, stories I chronicle and share here.
